Hey Wife!
I just realised that I will not be able to make it to the AGM on Monday - I am flying home to see the parentals for the first time in months... Ryanair only flies a couple of times a week, so was a bit stuck and couldn't avoid that. Really wanted to go before that travel-corridor is closed, too - it's probably my only chance this year.
That's really poo. I would've absolutely voted for you to be chair - I hope you're still putting yourself forward. We don't do absentee votes and I can't log in when I land (8pm UK time - stupidly I'm flying at 18:45, so it's not even like I could do a little bit of it...) as it would be a bit weird to arrive and not talk to my parents - especially bearing in mind Neil will be there too and doesn't speak German! Hahaha. That would be funny... but awful.
Anyhow, please pass on my apologies. Would normally be there as it's important I think. I'm ok to stay involved as representative if need be, but if there is someone keen to take over I'd also be happy to pass on the baton. Haven't really been doing the best job of it to be fair.
Sorry!
xx

Hi all,
Unfortunately we have just found out City Academy is not ready to open, therefore training will remain at Oldbury Court until we can find an alternative solution.
We will update you as soon as we know more, but as it stands they have not confirmed when they expect to open.
In the meantime I have attached a guide to the footwear that is allowed at the City Academy, this is mandatory and unlike Brunel, they will NOT let you on the pitch unless wearing correct footwear.
Please remember we never want money to be a barrier to people playing and we have funds to support people to train, so if you need support or know anyone that might need support to get correct footwear please get in touch.
Thanks all, Soooooz

Hi all,
So I have been in discussions with people about trying to start an over 35’s league.
One of the new casual league teams from last season aren’t continuing because they found even the development league too young and competitive. We have players in a similar position.
So what I want to know is....
Would you be interested in joining a new less competitive over 35’s league?
NB: in the men’s over 35 league they can have a certain number of players under 35 per team so you may still be able to join if younger and just want to play less competitively.
What would be important to you about defining the rules of this league? (to make sure it didn’t just turn into the same level as casual league)
Thanks all.
Plan is probably to try and kick it off in the new year and have a small season with a couple of teams

They are £2 and all funds are going to a charity supporting the youth in Bookie’s home town Kingston, Jamaica. Bank deets by the way are: ms s Mallaghan 165810

Hey all, regarding Saturday...Tom has got in touch with my asking me to reassure everyone that it is going to be a fun day and it’s about getting to know everyone and not football skills. So please don’t let that put you off. He had heard that some cowgirls were put off by the boys taking things too seriously. His msg - I've been hearing the girls might think it's too serious...?
I'm doing a draw for the teams, so random teans, there is no overhead height, roll in from the touch line, etc etc it's more a funday and getting to know you than serious competition until the final may be. If you could relay this please sooooz. It's a fun day to get to know you day and long overdue. If you could share the love yet again sister that would be marvellous. Also lots of newbies who need educating. Cheers xx
So whether you are new or old, please come along and join the fun :)
