Just to chip in and say sorry, that confusion was my fault. I asked if someone was trying to suggest something like a "3 strikes" rule. It was confusing language (must be softball on the brain), and not what that person meant, and it confused the discussion and minutes. I just want to suggest a correction - the mention of a '2 strikes' situation was a misunderstanding (we're going softball crazy maybe?) and not what the person talking meant (I've checked). As far as I understood it no one suggested kicking anyone out.

I'd also like to encourage folk who weren't at the meeting to talk to those who were, cos it was a very complicated one so not easy to capture in minutes.

I was dead proud of us and thought there was a good atmosphere.

Don't worry Hannah, it's a difficult job at the best of times! When I did them, I resorted to recording what was generally talked about and the ideas that came up, rather than who said what specifically, and it got more and more general as time went on :-) Although it is not minuted - I would, however, like to clarify that I was NOT crying in the meeting! I had very bad hayfever in my eyes so they were runny. I know I'm a massive cry baby most of the time, and it's ok for big boys to cry. But I would like it on record that this time for once I did not blub. I take responsibilty for the error. If there's a meeting like that again, I recomnend the person taking notes defintely checks with people who said them.

I just didn't that day because I had an observation in the morning and was in a rush to email them out and continue planning for it.

It might also be an idea in the future to get two people taking notes so they can compare.

Lesson learnt.
