[OOTB-hive] Alfresco Global Virtual Hack-a-thon 2016

Hello everyone,

as you may have seen in the last minutes of the meeting of the board, we
picked up on the issue of Alfresco organising a Global Virtual Hack-a-thon
in the tradition of previous such events. After contacting and discussing
options / the schedule of the new community platform (as an important tool
for organizing teams) with our Alfresco contacts (Richard, Ole and
Kristen), I can happily announce that the Global Virtual Hack-a-thon 2016
will take place on September 23rd.

The Google+ event page has been set up today (
https://plus.google.com/events/cu08e29iqjpsheanlmifldk2uck) and the
Alfresco events page is likely to follow soon.

We as the Order of the Bee will of course support this event in terms of
"marketing" it, participation by proposing ideas or working on projects,
and we can also throw our weight in by providing Alfresco "community
experts" that mentor / support other peoples projects via IRC, Google
Hangout or other forms of communication.

For now, please help us and Alfresco market the event by forwarding /
disseminating any announcements or updates regard the event as provided by
Alfresco or the Order.
