Hiya, Why? Because we have a proud history that shouldn't be discarded. Over two decades now and a huge contribution to developing the women's game in Bristol. Because as a club we show inclusivity not through changing something essential to the club like its name but by how we treat each other - our fellow team mates, other teams, new players. I am still bowled over by how my news was greeted by everyone in July. And for my first league game the other week, I can't you all how happy that made me feel! This club is amazing and that is a testament to the hard work a lot of people have put in over years to foster an inclusive, welcoming environment. And because...I don't mind using the phrase Cowfolk as a colloquial shorthand for 'Cowboys and Cowgirls' but as an official name? Nah...it reminds me too much of the Tetley Teafolk. It sounds a bit naff. That's my tuppence worth anyway.. See you all soon, Beth x
