REMEMBERING AWDAH: FILM NIGHTS AND DISCUSSION HOSTED BY THE EASTON COWGIRLS
Join The Easton Cowgirls for two film nights to remember our friend Awdah who was killed by settlers in his village Um All Khair on 28th July 2025.
Over the course of two events we will share 3 films that Awdah made direct contributions to, share food and discuss how we can help to resist the ongoing atrocities in Palestine:
Wednesday 15th October 2025 - No other Land and Wednesday 29th
Cowfolk/Republica films 2014/2017 following their football tours to Palestine
With discussion following the films.
Tickets via Headfirst or on door suggested donation of £5 per person n.o.t.a.f.l.o.f. (no one turned away for lack of funds) all funds go to Hebron International Resource Network

Film night to remember our friend and comrade Awdah Hathaleen, who was murdered in his village, Um Al Khair, South Hebron, on 28th July 2025.
Screening of 'No Other Land' (2024) an Oscar winning documentary about the occupation of Masafer Yatta in the West Bank, which Awdah helped to make.
Along the way we will talk about resisting the occupation and genocide that is ongoing in Palestine both at home and abroad, and what we can each do to confront the rise of the far right in the UK, which is directly contributing to the genocide of Palestinian people.
We will share food at both and take time to remember our friend and, most importantly, share his story.
Both events will raise money for Hebron International Resource Network.

Second movie 1st of October.
Screening of film produced by Cow Harry for the Easton Cowfolk, Balls, Barriers, and Balldosers. Our counterpart team in Leeds Republica also did a similar movie following their tours in the West Bank in 2014 and 2017.

This is also a great opportunity for new players to come along and learn the history of cowfolks. A chance to ask questions about the Palastine tours and other acts of solidarity we have been a part of over the years to present day.
All taking place at the Pickle factory All Hallows road between 7pm and 9pm.
Good afternoon folks
On the 23rd of November the cowfolks Sister team Republica will be coming to Bristol to play a friendly game of football with us. The details are as follows . The football is taking place between 12pm and 3pm at Bristol Goals South Brislington, it is 8aside and there will be a small cost to participate.
Once the footie is finished we will head down to the Pickle factory to join the 4th team to eat meet and greet with Republica, the 4th team and many more..
If you wish to participate in any of the above please get in touch.
If you can't play football and you can help with cooking we will be most greatful, veggie vegan preferably.
If there are folks that have capacity to put some folks up for the night from Republica please let me know. This will be very helpful.
