Hi Cows,
I hope you are all swell.
We are overdue a QGM. Please respond (just to me) with which dates you are available and I will tally them up and book the upstairs room at Easton Community Centre. The options are:
Tuesday 4th October 1930-2100 OR Tuesday 11th October 1930-2100.
The deadline to choose is this Friday at midnight.
If you don't usually come to meetings then here is your chance to see how the herd is run and have your say. We will discuss opening up to new people, diffferentiation at training and any other issues. Please message me with any issues that you want to be put on the agenda.
Muchos love,
Lizzie
Meeting by the top playground at 12:30. I’ll pin drop our location once we find a spot. Won’t be in main park as Tokyo world

A young Navajo filmmaker investigates displacement of Indigenous people and
devastation of the environment caused by the same chemical companies that
have exploited the land where she was born. On this personal and political
journey she learns from Indigenous activists across three continents. This
film is in seven languages, including several Indigenous languages rarely
captured on film: English, Diné, Spanish, Wayuu, Visayan, Blaan, and
Zapotec. More here: www.powerlands.org

Subject: Hamed is coming - help needed and one urgent reply required today please
hi peeps,
can you forward this to the cowgirl palestine tourers asap please? point 3 needs an answer today.
thanks x
hi all,
yes, the legend that is hamed is doing a tour of england and wales very soon and he'll be in bristol from friday 23rd september for a couple of days till the sunday. he's coming with his 10yo son Suhail and they'll be staying at mine both nights. sweet.
here's where you come in:
1. friday 23rd - come along to his talk at tony benn house on victoria st. see attached poster.
2. saturday 24th - the nutter is doing a bungee jump in tamworth!!
Does anyone fancy driving hamed and his son from Bristol to Tamworth and back again so he can do the bungee jump?
It's about 110 miles each way and should take about 2 hours. Bungee jump at 2.30 so it's probably a 11.30 to 5.30 trip.
We'll pay for the petrol. If anyone is up for it that'd be amazing. Please contact me today.
3. also saturday - probably try a little trip to the plough early evening. let me know if you're around.
4. sunday 25th - and of course he's running the bristol half marathon. can anyone drive him from mine to the city centre for about 10am please?
5. if you can't do any of the above but you still wanna see him, maybe you can pop round to mine at some stage for a few minutes. let me know. x

Greetings Cows,
Don't forget that training is at City Academy tonight, be there at 7.30pm for a 7.40 start. Try to wear the right footwear, subs are £3 unwaged/£4 waged and don't forget to have a right good time.
Love,
Lizzie
Eyup Cows,
Training is back at City Academy (Russell Town Ave, Redfield, Bristol BS5 9JH) next Thursday 8th September. Be there at 19:30 for a 19:40 start.
They are very strict about footwear so please see the attached image and try to bring the right boots - they sometimes don't notice but it'd be sad if they noticed and didn't let you play.
Love,
Lizzie
BOYCOTT PUMA DAY OF ACTION 10TH OF SEPT. There is another Puma boycott event on the 10th of September and Bristol Palestine Solidarity Campaign have asked if we will support the event by having a kick around outside sports direct in broadmead. Those who came last time will tell you it’s lots of fun. You don’t need to know anything about the situation as the folks of Bristol PSC will be handing out leaflets and talking to the public, we’re just there to draw attention to the demo. You can find out more about why we boycott Puma by googling. More details will follow but…
I am away that day so need someone to coordinate the cowfolk. Any volunteers?

Beth has asked me to pass on this message to the Cowgirls...
Because I didn't get a chance to say goodbye to everyone on Sunday (had to
dash off to a v important game in London) I just wanted to ask if you could
pass on a huge thank you to the Cowgirls from me? It felt so wonderful to
feel accepted by you all and I loved playing with you so much that I'm
going to try and get to training as much as I can this coming season (work
and travel permitting).
Hugs, Beth x
