We had to write our own build environment to allow modules to rely on and share other modules and to support different Alfresco versions just to be installed by the customers without the need to start maven. By now the sdk only supports the allinone and the stanalone amp artefacts - but we need to combine different (already existing) modules and libs which are to be bought from different parties.

I don’t think I fully understand your use case. You’re asking to combine modules without maven? The workflow right now is to produce AMPs with the SDK and deploy them to Alfresco via MMT - but I’d love to have a more detailed discussion around this to fully understand the use case.
When people are not using the SDK, we want to know why and see if/how the SDK can accommodate you.

So in the spirit of not hijacking this thread, could you raise an issue on Github (https://github.com/Alfresco/alfresco-sdk/issues <https://github.com/Alfresco/alfresco-sdk/issues>) and explain the use case? Then I’m happy to pick up the discussion there.

/Ole
