[OOTB-distro] Clustering/load balancing Alfresco Commmunity

So that sounds like a very succinct summation of the problem. A 
"transaction safe jvm memory cache".

Alfresco moved from ehcache to hazelcast why? Because ehcache is more 
heap-bound? I'm just guessing, based on my reading around the subject 
this evening.

I'm not sure how relevant this is but it came up in some SO thread about 
java caching, and it looks really cool :-)

I was also intrigued by the Unsafe package as described here:

I guess I'm thinking of a combination of both those things but tbh I 
haven't read either fully right now (due to being in the midst of moving 
between cities) and just wanted to pin them in case they're relevant. I 
also haven't yet considered how this fits into the alfresco source.

I certainly couldn't see any reason to do this on the share side, just 
on repo.
