I'm emailing you because you have one or more active Wordpress blogs with us on our shared Wordpress install.

As part of our general improvements this year we're upgrading our servers and will be moving all our hosted web sites to new servers.  I am planning to move the sites in our Wordress network this Friday 23rd January.   I'll start the work around 10AM and hope to be completed by 4PM the same day.

Because I will be synchronising the data across from our old server to our new server, it is essential that you do not use update your Wordpress site after 10AM on Friday and until I email again to confirm that the migration has completed.  If you do happen to update your site during this time, then the updates may well be lost.

In addition, there will be some maintenance time when your site could be unavailable.  I would expect this to be about 15 minutes, and certainly no more than one hour.

If you have any questions or concerns about the upgrade, or if Friday is really a bad day for me to do the work, please get in touch with me as soon as possible.
