[Easton-Cowgirls] Flim nights

Film night to remember our friend and comrade Awdah Hathaleen, who was murdered in his village, Um Al Khair, South Hebron, on 28th July 2025. Screening of 'No Other Land' (2024) an Oscar winning documentary about the occupation of Masafer Yatta in the West Bank, which Awdah helped to make. Along the way we will talk about resisting the occupation and genocide that is ongoing in Palestine both at home and abroad, and what we can each do to confront the rise of the far right in the UK, which is directly contributing to the genocide of Palestinian people. We will share food at both and take time to remember our friend and, most importantly, share his story. Sooooz, Becs and T would like everyone to know that they thought they booked the accessible space and recently found out we didn’t. They tried to source another local accessible venue, but it hasn’t been possible, and they are really sorry about this. ✊🏿🇨🇩🇸🇩🇵🇸 Second movie 1st of October. Screening of film produced by Cow Harry⁩ for the Easton Cowfolk, Balls, Barriers, and Balldosers. Our counterpart team in Leeds Republica also did a similar movie following their tours in the West Bank in 2014 and 2017. Same additional information as previous post. This is also a great opportunity for new players to come along and learn the history of cowfolks. A chance to ask questions about the Palastine tours and other acts of solidarity we have been a part of over the years to present day. All taking place at the Pickle factory All Hallows road between 7pm and 9pm.
