[Easton-Cowgirls] Tournament meeting on Monday 7:30pm

Hey y'all, the next tournament meeting is on Monday at 7:30pm at the Red Lion on Whitehall Road. We're going to start designating subgroups so now's the time to get involved. What's the 'tournament'? For those that don't know, we're part of a network of like-minded clubs around the UK, Europe and even Brazil. Every year (covid-aside) one team hosts a huge get-together-party-tournament in their country. This year we're doing it, and we're doing it big cos it's the Cowfolks 30th anniversary. There's camping, football, netball, kids activities, food, booze, bands, dj's, discussions and general merriment and craziness. There'll be 2 footy tournaments - a mixed one and a female/non-binary one. Why get involved? Otherwise the best event of the year won't flipping happen. There's no core committee running this - it takes everyone doing one or 2 little jobs to pull it off. The feeling of watching folk from all over the world enjoying themselves when you've chipped in is satisfying as fuck. It's also a great way to get to know the lovely folks in the wider club - netballers, mens footballers, cricketers, kids klub gang and old legends.
