[Easton-Cowgirls] Catch up on club news

Hi all, there's been lots going on in the wider club recently so I thought I'd do a wee round up for those who've missed it... An update on our community veg box scheme. We still need volunteer packers and particularly DBS-checked drivers, as this is growing and growing. We are seeing people in real need and this isn't going to get better as soon as lockdown is over. If you have any contacts, we're also always grateful for any food donations! So far no one has come forward saying they're interested in taking up one of the full club committee roles for this year, and the current committee (secretary me, chair Jody and treasurer Verne) have to step down this summer (it's in our constitution that we can only serve 2 years). Please please please have a think about whether you could do this. It's very rewarding! We need people to keep the club going, it doesn't just run itself unfortunately :-) And don't worry that you're not qualified or too new in the club, that really doesn't mater! I'd be happy to have a chat about what it entails. And you'd get lots of support from us as we hand over and beyond. Anyway, stay safe. Stay cow.
