CALLING ALL COWGIRLS! and ALL non-binary folks This tour to Clapton is for you! Its a tour to bring together ALL people who want to play fun and inclusive football and say a massive fuck you to the system. Clapton like the Easton Cowfolk are very active in their solidarity for those within out communities and outside of communities who don't have a voice. We are using the day to play football and network with like minded folk, with the long term aim for this tournament to be a yearly fun event to meet new folks and raise money for important causes.
For this to work we need a team of people to go, so I am asking ALL members of the Cowgirls (netball and softball too) to think about coming a long. The tournament isn't about the competiton, but to give folks the space to network and get a taster of what a network tournament will feel like (and we are not invited to the main annual network tour in Germany), so Clapton has invited to this one.
The game takes place at the Old Spotted dog, East London, and on the day, there is going to be food, music and lots of brilliant people to meet. Because this is important to the Cowfolk as well as Clapton. They have provided accommodation for those who are interested, so I need people to get back to me as soon as possible to let me know they can attend.
The game starts at 1:30 and we will be playing against Clapton 3rd (see link below for more information) team made of Womyn and Non-Binary people, once the men's game and the Cowgirls/Clapton game has finished the party starts, there will be Cowfolk DJs, Clapton DJs and Bands. ALL takes place at the Old Spotted Dog so need to think about going any where else. In addition showers and changing rooms are provided.
Money-
Money collected to play game will go to toward the GAZA sunbirds
Money raised from the bar will go back to the Old Spotted Dog
Money raised from the sale of food will go back to the Clapton football club
There will be speeches before we split for a PARTAYYYYYY
Thank you to those who were able to attend last weeks meeting both in person and online, and via WhatsApp.

My name is David Symes. We met a few years ago on Portland in Dorset, when
you brought down the Easton Cowboys and we had that amazing weekend of
football, music, discussions and entertainment. Steve Rudall (Convoy
Cabaret) connected us both.
I work for Mencap and am supporting an amazing campaigner called Beth
Richards in Bristol. Beth is a person with learning disabilities.
Beth and I are running a workshop/drop-in session in Bristol on the 6th of
July to talk about the environment and plastic pollution.
*I wondered if you would send/forward on the invites to your friends,
colleagues, and activists in Bristol please. *
Thank you and best wishes,
Dave

Hi ya Folks,
Hope you're all good. As you may or may not have seen there has been a requested for each section of the club to fundraise for the 4th team. I thought it would be a good idea if we can fundraise at the Plough on nights that aligned with our ethos. So, this Thursday at the Plough there is Brazilin antifa ska reggae band playing, this would be a great opportunity to raise money for an equal cause like the 4th team. What is required is one or two people to stand outside the Plough (or in) with the izettle or a little cash box, to briefly explain to people why we are fundraising, and that is to fundraise for our 4th football team to so they can have equipment to play football when the season starts back up and to continue to provide a hot community meal throughout the season too.
If this sounds like something you're interested in, please reply to this email or give me a message on WhatsApp.
Nuff love, Sensimilia.

Hello Herd!
It is that time of year again where we need to get our teams together ready
for the Bristol Casual League 24/25 season. This year, we would like to
enter a team into the development division. This is a team for anyone who
would like to develop their skills as they are either new to the game,
still finding their feet or don't want to take part in an overly
competitive division. However, the development league is no pushover, and
the team will still need to work hard for any results. The development
division plays their games at the same time and location as the other
divisions. *You will be placed into development unless you opt into the
more competitive divisions. *
In the 23/24 season there were some fairly brutal losses with high numbers
of goals scored against us. This made it hard for games to be as enjoyable
as we would like. If you do decide to join the other divisions, please be
aware of its competitive nature and fast pace.
So what do we need from you? If you do want to play in the Bristol Causal
League 24/25 season, please email or DM me:
