QGM on Wednesday

Hello again all! This is your friendly reminder that we will be holding a Quarterly General Meeting this coming Wednesday, 27/10/2021 at 7pm at the Easton Community Centre, Kilburn Street, Easton, BS5 6AW (opposite HQ). Please come along if you can make it. If you can’t make it in person and would like to join online I’ll try to make that happen somehow. Please give me a shout. I’ve attached some minutes written by the Lovely Lizzie. I think they are the last ones - I don’t think I have notes from the time we met about the casual league - chances are I have lost them. Sorry! Lizzie won’t make it on Wednesday so I will need a volunteer to take some notes… pretty please! The agenda so far is: 20th Anniversary of the Cowgirls!!! Yes, you read that right. Never mind the Cowfolk turning 30 next year, WE ARE 20 THIS YEAR apparently! And there’s still a couple of months left so we better organise something! 30 Anniversary Tournament, including Date Tapestry Teams to invite Fundraiser on the 29th Jan Calendar Training / newbies / etc Cowgirl Finances (it’s late on the agenda on purpose as Fran can only join us a wee bit later) Any other business Please give me a shout to let me know all of the things that I have forgotten and left of the agenda and I will add them. Cowgirls QGM - IN PERSON - save the date

Hello all! We are due (overdue) a Quarterly General Meeting. It will be held on Wednesday, 27/10/2021 IN PERSON (wooohooo!), most likely at the Easton Community Centre (I am waiting on confirmation that they can staff reception that evening). Details to follow but please send me any agenda items or apologies if you can't make it. For those that are new to the club, please come along! It's a great way to learn more about our club and all the other stuff we are involved in besides football. The format is fairly informal, there will be an agenda we follow and everyone gets a chance to input. If there is any feedback or something that you would like discussed, please get in touch. However, input is not mandatory, so if you want to just listen and observe that's fine too! There's a fair bit happening in the club as a whole (we are turning 30 next year!) so it'll be a good time to fill your diary / sign up to help on various things etc etc ect And we'll head across the road to HQ after ;-) Looking forward to seeing you then! Pledgeball - Footballers for Climate Action

Pledgeball was set up by Katie from the Misfits (another Bristol women's football team) as a way to mobilise football players and supporters to make positive environmental changes in their lives. They are now asking footballers and football supporters to submit very short videos stating their name, who they support (or play for), and that they support climate action. The short videos will be compiled and shown at the COP26 Climate Conference in Glasgow It would be great if you wanted to take part - and film yourself, in a cowgirl tshirt if you have one.
