[OOTB-hive] Amazon storage assistance

After seeing this I realize my response from 3 hours ago only went to Heimo
instead of the list...
This was my response "back then":

Note that the S3 connector linked to by Heimo is for the Enterprise
Edition. For Community Edition there are addons out there that deal with
this, e.g. https://github.com/douglascrp/alfresco-cloud-store
Also in terms of the 30 TiB storage it would help to know the type of
content that is managed. I.e. what is the potential for compression /
deduplication to reduce the amount of storage needed... One of my addons (
https://github.com/AFaust/simple-content-stores) supports transparent
compression and deduplication, which might save a bit though it won't
change the fact that S3 is still expensive.
