I vouch for the value of having a vouching system. I agree that when done
right it helps to filter out folks who aren't committed to the
organization. It seems that you would want to have a small number of active
folks who could vouch for others (possibly the leadership of ootb) if
anyone can vouch for anyone else it's easy to sign up with a few accounts
and get a bunch of vouches... Having said that maybe there is a grace
period. It seems like almost anyone who finds ootb right now is well
connected with the community.
