I've been putting together an alfresco build based on puppet. It builds
on the work done by Loftux for his install script, in fact it mostly
converts his shell script into the equivalent puppet commands to do the
same job, except it parameterizes a few different things and it installs
the javascript console (other addons will be added if this becomes the
build for DISTRO).

The project works in three modes of operation: as a puppet script, which
can be used in a puppetmaster environment, a Vagrant script which is
mostly useful for testing, and as a standalone installer.

The standalone installer is a simple bash script which will accept some
parameters and generate a puppet script which is then used by puppet in
standalone mode to bring the system into a configured state.

I am seeking some volunteers to test the installer for me. You will need
a new VM with Ubuntu installed (tested with 12.04 and 14.04), and the
only other package you need to have installed is 'git'. All other
dependencies will be managed by the script. The project is here

installation instructions in the README.

If you notice any problems in the build please send me the puppet output
that was logged to the screen as well as the usual catalina.out
extracts. I would also be very pleased to hear about successful builds too.
