[OOTB-addons] Alfresco - Electronic Signature addons categorization

Hello Axel,

I’m planning to pick one in every category (client side, server side, handwritten) and trying to review it. One of them was developed partially by me, so it should be easy to evaluate at least this one :)

However, there is some electronic signature gaps in Alfresco that could be achieved fastly by developing small integrations or by using external systems. I’m talking about TSLs, TSA, LTA and archival signature formats (AdES-A). So I think it could be interesting to identify all these gaps to provide new walkthroughs to the Community.

I did not know there were so many different signature addons. An overview certainly would come in handy, especially concerning compatibility between those addons with complementing algorithms.  
Do you also plan to review (some of) these addons or would this be more of a topical research and summary effort?

I’m thinking of explaining the impact of every column title (X509Certificate (Client)…) in every zone (EU, USA, LATAM…) and going deeper (signature formats, verification, tsa, lta…) in order to provide a detailed map on how is Alfresco today in relation with electronic signature technologies.  

Do you think this is a useful information? Should I continue developing it?
